Nepal Tour Itinerary
Day 1 : Welcome to Nepal
Touch down in Kathmandu, ready for the start of your cultural educational tour in Nepal! transfer to the accommodation and settle in. Meet them later for a trip briefing, where they’ll explain what the week has in store, provide advice on adapting to local life in Nepal, and give tips on staying safe.
Afterwards, students will immerse themselves in the vibrant heart of Nepal with a day of sightseeing in Kathmandu, the country’s enchanting capital. They’ll wander through centuries-old temples and striking monuments that showcase Nepal’s deep spiritual and cultural heritage.
Later in the afternoon, they’ll witness the powerful atmosphere of devotion during the sacred prayer rituals at Pashupatinath Temple – a moving glimpse into living tradition.
On the first night, students can take some time to acclimatise to the new accommodation and enjoy a welcome dinner.
Day 2 : Language Lessons, Bhaktapur & Dhulikhel
Students will begin the day with their first informal language lesson and an introduction to Nepalese culture, learning basic greetings and common phrases to help connect with the people they meet. A guided walk will then introduce Hinduism and Buddhism, two of Nepal’s most influential religions.
In the afternoon, students will explore Bhaktapur, a historic city known for its artisans, pottery, and handicrafts, as well as its harmonious blend of Hindu and Buddhist traditions. They’ll have the chance to interact with the local community and experience the city’s unique cultural identity.
The day concludes with a private transfer to Dhulikhel, where students will be introduced to Rayal village and their upcoming community service project, before enjoying some free time to rest and recharge.
Day 3 : Boudhanath Stupa & Temple Visits
Students will begin the day at Boudhanath Stupa, one of Nepal’s most iconic landmarks. Here, they will learn about the site’s history, take part in prayer rituals, and have the chance to browse the surrounding square filled with stalls offering traditional Buddhist and Nepali items.
The day continues with a visit to Pashupatinath Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most sacred monuments in the Kathmandu Valley. Students will gain an appreciation of both its deep religious significance and its archaeological value.
Day 4 : Thangka Painting, Temple Visit, Nagarkot & Cooking Class
The morning starts with an introduction to the intricate art of Thangka painting. Students will meet an expert artisan, learn about the symbolism and history behind this traditional Tibetan practice, and have the opportunity to create their own piece.
Next, they will explore the historic Patan Durbar Square. Surrounded by temples and palaces, students can appreciate the craftsmanship of the Newar people and gain insight into Nepal’s rich architectural heritage.
The adventure continues with a scenic drive to Nagarkot. Perched in the hills, this destination offers breathtaking views and a tranquil escape from the city, perfect for reflection and observation.
The day ends with a hands-on cooking class where students will prepare traditional Nepali dishes. Through this experience, they’ll learn about local ingredients, culinary traditions, and the cultural significance of food in everyday life.
Day 5 : Adventure & Nature in Pokhara

Day 6 : Farewll to Nepal
In the morning it’s time for students to head back to the railway station or airport for their flight home.
